New Britain is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania that has a population of roughly 2,966 (2019). The first dwelling in the village of New Britain was built sometime before 1760 by David Stephens who ultimately purchased land from Joseph Kirkbride. Early on, the village was called Bittings Store or Bittings Corner.
