Haycock township is located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States.  The population is roughly 2,210 (2018).  The township was established in 1763 and had some roads after being formed by leftover “odds and ends” from surrounding townships.  However, there was no government to levy any taxes to maintain and order along with roads.

Haycock Mountain – Locally prominent hill with the highest summit in all of Bucks County.  It rises above the Nockamixon State Park.  The name actually was derived by early settlers simply for its “resemblance to a cock of hay”.  It is also used seasonally for hunting and is great for hiking.
